A: scoutPRO for Fantasy Football helps the General Manager (GM) optimize their roster and win their league every week. Each player is analyzed down to a skill level and adjustments are made weekly based on performance, injuries, weather, and the opponent.
2. Q: How does scoutPRO work?
A: scoutPRO calculates players ratings down to a skill level and incorporates both objective (statistical) and subjective (subject matter expert) data. scoutPRO's algorithms use established rules and relationships. Please see the "How it Works" tab for additional information on scoutPRO ratings are calculated.
3. Q: How much does it cost and for how long is the subscription valid?
A: A subscription to scoutPRO is $24.95 and is valid for the current football season.
4. Q: How do I sign up?
A: From the main scoutPRO site (www.scoutpro.com), click on "Try scoutPRO today or Register today" and you will find information on pricing and registration.
5. Q: Is scoutPRO only for Fantasy Football?
A: The initial version of scoutPRO is for Fantasy Football, but versions for other Fantasy sports including Baseball and Basketball are currently being designed.
6. Q: Who is the Expert?
A: The scoutPRO Expert is Nelson Sousa. Sousa is one of the leading Fantasy Football players in the world and assists in the weekly scoutPRO player ratings and recommendations. Sousa is known as an industry expert as he has consistently placed high on the leader board in the World Championship of Fantasy Football (WCOFF) and other high stakes leagues.
7. Q: How often is statistical data updated?
A: Our philosophy is to compile statistics over a period of time so that we can analyze meaningful tendencies - we do not want to react to a change that occurs in one or two games. We update the statistics in the offseason based on the previous year and once or twice during the season.
